Story About Us

What we have done from the past

We are a small studio working across identity, product photography and interiors. Every project starts the same way: a long conversation, a narrow brief, and a plan we can both hold each other to.

Nine people, one room, and a preference for doing fewer things properly. We take on eight to ten engagements a year.

Planning

A written brief before any design starts, so nobody is guessing at the scope.

Take Action

Three rounds, each narrower than the last. We commit early and refine.

Deliver On Time

Dates are agreed once and kept. If something slips, you hear it from us first.

Meet People Behind
Our Success .

Four of the nine. The rest you will meet if we work together — we do not run accounts through people you never speak to.

Recent Notes .

Occasional writing on process, materials and the work we admire.

On choosing one typeface

Most identity systems fail because they carry three faces where one would do the work.

What Clients Say .

They asked harder questions than anyone we had briefed before, and the work was better for it. The guidelines are still holding two years on.

Small studio, no account layer, no surprises on the invoice. We have moved three more projects across since.

Who we are and where to find us

A small room, a short list .

Founded in 2014 above a framing shop. We stayed small on purpose: nine people, one studio, no satellite offices and no account layer between you and the people doing the work.

We take eight to ten engagements a year, which means we say no more often than yes. It also means the work gets the attention it needs.

What a snag list is actually for

The last two per cent of an interior is where the reputation lives. A good list is boring, specific and written by whoever will be blamed.

Saying no to more work

We take eight to ten engagements a year. That number is not modesty, it is arithmetic — it is how many projects nine people can hold properly.
